Managing Activity Types

How to create and manage the activity types your team uses to log sales interactions.

Activity types define the categories of interactions your team logs — such as calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, voicemails, and demos. Firehose comes with a default set, and admins can add custom types to match your team's workflow.

Viewing activity types

Go to Activity Types in the sidebar to see all active types.

Creating a new activity type

  1. Click New Activity Type

  2. Enter a name (e.g., "Product Demo" or "Conference")

  3. Save

Editing and deleting

Click any activity type to rename it. Activity types that have been used in logged activities cannot be deleted, but they can be renamed.
