The Implementation Pipeline

How the implementation pipeline works and how it differs from the sales pipeline.

Written by Chad Deely

The implementation pipeline is a separate Kanban board for managing post-sale customer onboarding. It is designed for implementation team members who manage customers after a deal is closed.

How it works

Implementation deals move through a pipeline of stages configured by your admin — for example: Kickoff → Discovery → Configuration → Training → Go-Live → Complete. Each stage can have entrance criteria, notes requirements, and locked status, just like the sales pipeline.

Accessing the board

Go to Deals in the sidebar. If you are on an implementation team, you will see the implementation board. You can also navigate directly to Implementation Teams to view your team and stages.

Deals on the board

Each deal card shows the customer company, associated contacts, and current stage. Click a card to open the full deal detail — including the activity timeline, todos, emails, and notes for that customer.
