🔒 Who can do this: MCP is available on the Stream plan and higher, and an admin must turn it on for the workspace before anyone can connect ChatGPT.
Connect ChatGPT to Firehose so it can look up your CRM data and take actions — like checking your pipeline, updating a contact, or creating a to-do — directly from your conversation.
Turn on MCP (admins)
Go to
Company Settings>MCP.Turn on
Allow users to connect via MCP.
What ChatGPT can do once connected
The access level — read-only or read-and-write — is requested by ChatGPT itself when you connect it; Firehose shows you exactly what's being requested before you approve or deny the connection. Depending on what's requested and approved, ChatGPT can:
Look up contacts, companies, and deals
Check your to-do list and pipeline summary
Create and complete to-dos
Update contact and company details
Create new companies and contacts — admins only, and only when it isn't a likely duplicate of an existing record
Add notes, segments, competitors, and titles
Merge duplicate companies — admins can merge any two; other users can only merge two companies they both own
Connect ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, go to
Settings>Connectors.Select
Add connectorand enter the Firehose MCP URL:https://app.firehose.ai/mcpChatGPT will redirect you to Firehose to log in and review the connection.
Approve the requested access — read-only or read and write, as requested by ChatGPT.
Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT about your Firehose data directly.
💡 Note: Menu names in ChatGPT may change as the product updates. If you don't see a Connectors option, your ChatGPT plan may not support custom connectors yet.
Managing the connection
Go to Settings > MCP in Firehose to see every assistant connected to your account, including when it connected, when it was last used, and its access level. Click Revoke next to the connection to disconnect it immediately.
